About School

The Delhi Public School (DPS), Ahmedabad, was promoted in 1996 by the well-reputed Delhi Public School Society. It is a co-educational day school offering education from pre-primary to senior secondary level and managed by the Calorx Foundation, a non-profit organization.

Affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E), New Delhi, the school started with 450 students and 26 teachers, and has now achieved strength of about 4000 students and 200 teachers.

Campus Details

The 13 acre school campus comprises the primary, middle, secondary and senior secondary sections. Five separate buildings adorn the school campus and include a spacious assembly area and an ampitheatre. Well-stocked libraries and computer laboratories are present in every section

The sports area of the school is called Kridangan and encompasses a hockey and football ground, a basketball and volleyball court, a rifle shooting range, a skating arena and an artificial climbing wall.

The pre-primary division of the school, 'Satellite', has built considering the safety of young children and has enclosed activity areas and lawns. The school boasts of up-to-date classrooms, smart boards, and essential multimedia needed for audio visual learnings.

Awards & Achievements

DPS Ahmedabad has been awarded the ‘Best Institutional Architectural Award’ by the Architect and Design Magazine. Also, a survey by Divya Bhaskar as well as the National Talent Search Contest (NTSC) New Delhi, has rated it ‘The Best School’ in Ahmedabad. The school has also received ‘The Best School for Integration of Technology in Education’ award by the Gujarat government.

About Teachers/Faculty

Admission Details

Application forms are available around the first week of March at the school office. The admission application/registration form can also be downloaded from the school website. Admissions for senior KG and higher grades are based on vacancies in the particular class and performance in the admission test. Admission tests are held as per the school notice issued in March.
Fees:
An amount of Rs. 47,800 is payable at the time of admission, which includes development charges, caution money and admission fees. Rs 41, 360 are charged as tuition fee and annual charges for pre-primary to senior KG.
