About School

Founded in 2009, Redbricks School, Ahmedabad is a coeducational day school in the process of being affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (C.I.S.C.E), New Delhi and University of Cambridge International Examinations (C.I.E), UKI.

The school was promoted by Renita Handa and Aditya Handa, founders of Redbricks Education which is a part of The Abellon Group. The school maintains a student teacher ratio of 1:25.

Campus Details

The 8-acre school campus hosts separate blocks for primary, middle and high school. The school boasts a well-stocked library, well-equipped labs for science and computers, canteen and activity rooms.

The sports infrastructure includes facilities for games such as football, cricket, basketball, volleyball, skating, badminton, chess, carom, table tennis, palette, athletics, yoga, kho-kho and kabaddi.

Awards & Achievements

Redbricks School is reckoned as a high quality educational institution in Ahmedabad. The Redbricks Foundation has also ventured into rural education and Redbricks School sponsors education of underprivileged children integrated in its classes through a Merit Scholarship Program.

Admission Details

Admissions are open for classes I to IV and no formal written or oral tests are conducted for admission to Redbricks Primary School (class I to IV). Admission is on a first-come basis and subject to availability of seats. An interaction of the child and parents with the principal will be required before affirming the admission.

For admission to Redbricks Middle School (Class V onwards), the child should have successfully completed the previous class and should clear the admission test.

Academics Details

The school textbooks are creative, application-oriented and align with the requirements of the C.B.S.E, C.I.S.C.E and C.I.E boards and are further supplemented by materials developed by the school’s in-house academic team. The school avoids burdening the students with homework and occasional activity-oriented assignments are given for reinforcement at home even in higher classes; time is provided within the school schedule to do self-guided assignments. Extra academic support is provided at the school if the need is identified between the parents, teachers, and principal and external tuitions are not allowed.

Extracurricular: Extracurricular activities include art and craft, wood work, pottery and sculpture-making, Indian and Western dance forms, dramatics, instrumental and vocal music. The school also has interest clubs catering to Multiple Intelligences, and conducts visits by experts besides conducting community activities, field visits and trips.
