About School

Founded in 1999 by JGI, JIRS aims include the holistic development of its students in grades four to twelve towards enriching the quality of life. A co-educational, residential school of more than 750 students , we set the highest standards of academic achievement, intellectual growth, ethical awareness and behaviour, sportsmanship and other good qualities to our students.

The School takes leadership seriously and our concern for character is a point of distinction. Our mission has never been narrow to prepare students for college, but rather to provide an experience which goes far beyond college requirements, addressing important personal aspects of growth and maturity. Through the years the means of achieving our aims have changed, yet JIRS size and its particular balance of tradition and innovation continue to provide exceptional opportunities to deserving students from diverse social, geographic and ethnic backgrounds. Campus Details

Academic Centre is located at the heart of the campus consisting of Air Conditioned Classrooms, Faculty Rooms, Audio – Visual Lecture Halls and Activity Rooms. All classrooms of 850 sq.ft. each are equipped with E-Boards, AV learning aids, High-Precision Projection systems and individualised seating arrangement.

The Library and Laboratory Centre houses all sophisticated & well equipped labs and resources. The library contains extensive collection of books, journals, audio-video CDs and DVDs, latest periodicals and journals. Links with the British Council Library and other major libraries in addition to an easy access facility. An innovative “Library-on-Wheels” feature adds imagination to an already stimulating experience. Students are also marked on book presentations.

Admission Details

Admissions are open for grades IV to XII. Application forms can be downloaded from school website or obtained from thschooadmissions office.The name of the student will be registered on receipt of the application form duly completed, including the medical form, photocopy of the report card of the previous grade and an advance payment of Rs. 2,00,000 as part payment of fees by demand draft in favour of Jain International Residential School payable at Bangalore. Academics Details

The school offers the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) curriculum for grades IV to XII, Cambridge Lower Secondary Programme (LSP) for grade VII, International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) 'O' level curriculum from grade VIII through grade and the IGCSE Leveland IB Diploma curriculum for grades XI and XII. Extracurricular: The school encourages participation in cricket, football, tennis, volleyball, squash, hockey, badminton, basket ball, golf, swimming and athletics. Hobby classes are mandatory for each student and students can choose between art and craft, clay modeling, soft toy making, face painting, floral carpet, vegetable carving and digital painting. Besides, classes for performing arts such as classical music, drama, dance and orchestral instruments, are also offered.
