Established in 1989 as a nursery school, Chirec Public School has made its mark as a premier K-12 educational institution offering the Cambridge, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and IB (International Baccalaureate) curricula. It is a co-educational English medium day school offering education from pre-primary to senior secondary level.
Chire is an acronym for Childres Recreation Centre. The school boasts three campuses in prime locations of the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad Kondapur, Gachibowli and Jubilee Hills.

Campus Details

Chirec boasts three campuses in prime locations of the twin cities. The main campus in Kondapur is situated in the prime location of the IT hub of Hyderabad. This eco-friendly campus offers separate facilities for pre-primary, primary, secondary and senior secondary students. The one acre campus at Gachibowli caters to pre-primary and primary students and the Jubilee Hills campus caters exclusively to pre-primary students.

The classrooms are spacious, well ventilated and equipped with modern teaching aids. Well-equipped laboratories, junior and senior section libraries, multipurpose halls for art, debates and seminars,well-maintained athletics track, cricket pitch, basket ball and volleyball courts, tennis court and a skating rink form part of the facility offerings at Chirec

Awards & Achievements

Cambridge Checkpoint Toppers (2012-13)
Checkpoint 5 Toppers: We are delighted to announce the results of the Primary Checkpoint. This was our first batch, andthe students have done their alma mater proud. Three of our brightest students – Keerthana, Arzoo and Niharika – scored 6/6 points across all 3 subjects tested.
Checkpoint 8 Toppers: Vedika Patwari and Sai Ruthvik Edara did stupendously in the Cambridge Checkpoint examinations conducted in May at the Cambridge Exam Center at CHIREC. Congratulations for both of them!

Scholarship for Higher Education (SHE)
The Department of Science and Technology (DST), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India awardsScholarship for Higher Education (SHE) under Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE) to the students who are within the top 1% at Class XII examination conducted by the Board during the academic session ending March / April 2013.

Letter’s given to Gaurika Reddy & Anushree Shankar for their performance in the CBSE XII examinations by Smriti Zubin Irani ,Minister of Human Resource Development.

Admission Details

Application forms and prospectus are available at the school office. Duly filled in application forms are to be submitted along with registration fee. The registered applicants will be called for an interview or an entrance test. The selection is based on merit and other eligibility criteria. For admission to pre-primary classes, the child should have completed 2 and half years of age.

Fees: During the time of admission, an admission fee of Rs 50,000, a caution fee of Rs 50,000 and a refundable security deposit of Rs 20,000 needs to be paid.

Academics Details

The academic year at Chirec commences in the third week of June and ends in April. The school is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi for the national curriculum from pre-primary to class XII and for the international curricula, it is affiliated with the UK based Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) and Geneva based International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO).

Extracurricular: The school offers a unique blend of facilities for conventional education, sports as well as fine arts. Students are offered opportunities to learn music, dance, aerobics, painting, clay modeling and computers. Sports such as tennis, badminton, basket ball, karate and swimming are encouraged
