Established in April 1985, Gitanjali Primary School, Begumpet is a coeducational day school affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi. The school aims at developing the total personality of the child, to make each child a better citizen of tomorrow. The school boasts 800 students from nursery through class XII and maintains teacher student ratio at 1:16.

Campus Details

The school campus hosts 12,000 sq.yds. open space with 75,000 sq.ft. built up area with separate buildings for the nursery, pre-primary and primary sections. The school hosts well equipped and safe science laboratories (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), Maths laboratories (NIIT), Computer laboratories, English laboratories, STEM learning centers (Creya), AV and multimedia rooms (School Cinema) and music and art rooms.

The school library features a good collection of both fiction and non-fiction books. Children are allowed to borrow one book per week. The teacher and the librarian assist the children in the selection of books and for reference work.

Admission Details

Admissions are open to children irrespective of caste, creed or community. Children are admitted as day scholars and the minimum age for admission to nursery is 2.5 years. Registration/application forms for admission may be obtained from the school office.
Fees- Tuition fee varies from approximately Rs. 12,500/- to Rs. 20,000/- per term (three terms annually).

Academics Details

Gitanjali School is affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi and prepares students for the ICSE exams in class X and the ISC examination in class XII. The Gitanjali system of education is designed to maximise the development of children's potential by providing complete academic knowledge and skills, moral values, social and physical skills.

Sports and games are compulsory and are an integral part of school life.
