Founded on the ethos of "In Omnia Paratus", ("prepared for all challenges"), the School nurtures the leaders of tomorrow, through a unique and well-defined curriculum and a dedicated focus on "learning beyond the classroom." The medium of instruction is English and the curriculum is the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme from Prep to Grade 5, the Indus Middle School Programme from Grade 6 to Grade 10, the International General Certificate of Secondary Education in Grades 9 and 10, and the IB Dilpoma Programme for Grades 11 and 12.
With an infrastructure that supports excellence in all areas, Indus International School provides a wide array of world-class facilities in academics, sports, IT, and habitat. The School is managed by the CEO and Board of Trustees, made up of members representing varied fields such as real estate development, Information Technology and consumer durables.
The first Indus International School was established in July 2003 at Sarjapur, Bangalore, by the Indus Trust.
The Indus International School campus is located on a 27-acre plot in Hyderabad’s pollution-free sylvan surroundings. The environment is designed for learning, personality development and has all the facilities to cater to an internationally designed curriculum.
Highlights of the campus:
Classrooms : Spaciously designed to seat 25 students, and equipped with play areas for pre-school, projection systems, computer facilities and lockers.
Amphitheatre : A well-equipped amphitheatre with a seating capacity of over 1,000 to handle all school events.
Hostels: Separate boys and girls hostels with each hostel closely supervised by an experienced houseparent.
ICT Infrastructure: The school seamlessly integrates offline and online learning, and provides access to information through a well-stocked learning resource centre (library), and digital hook-ups with Internet and online libraries. In addition to computer labs, computers are available in all classrooms, library, hostel and staff rooms for teachers. All students from Grade 6 onwards have laptops in order to facilitate research. The entire campus has Wi-Fi connectivity.

Dining: Staff and students dine in the central dining hall that can seat 700 persons. The capacity is being increased in the next phase of development. The cuisine is varied, including both vegetarian and non-vegetarian fare. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals are prepared in separate kitchens and served separately.
Admission to the school is considered on the following criterion:
For classe I-V, the admission is offered on the basis of the academic performance of the last 2 years. There will be a written aptitude test for classes VI onwards. It is also to be noted that the admission is considered depending on the vacancies to the specific class.
The school believes that all children possess specific intelligences in which they are strong. So, admissions will be based on the proclivity of the student especially mental organization, creativity and critical thinking skills
The admission test is held on the school premises and the dates fixed as per the parents request.The outcome of the test is communicated within 5 working days.
Once a student has been tested and assessed, and the confirmation of admission is communicated, the final procedure where all the necessary documents and photographs along with the admission fee, and refundable security deposit must be paid to the school within 30 days.
Fees: Annual fees charged is approximately Rs 3, 50,000 which is to be deposited two months prior to when the session starts. The admissions begin in the month of October every year.
The medium of instruction at Indus is English and the curriculum offered is the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Year Program from Prep to class V, the Middle School Curriculum from class VI-VIII culminating in the University of Cambridge's International Examination in class IX and X. Students are awarded the International Certificate of Education (ICE) after class X. The school offers the IB Diploma Program for class XI and XII.
The school provides holistic education for the all round development of the students. Modern methodologies have been implied for developing analytical abilities in the students
The school has excellent facilities for sports which include a 6-lane 400-metre field track, courts for tennis, basketball, volleyball,throw ball and football, apart from horse riding facilities
