There are 47 faculty members from 12 different counties. 34% of our teachers are from outside India with experience in teaching in many International Schools abroad. This is a feature unique to ISH. From reception (Kindergarten)to grade 8, ISH follows its own curriculum based on best practices from the U.S., Canada, Australia, and Europe. In grades 9-10, ISH follows the IGCSE, an international curriculum developed and administered by Cambridge University International Examinations. In grades 11-12, ISH follows the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, the most widely recognized international curriculum in the world.
ISH is accredited by two foreign accreditation agencies: the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and the Council of International Schools (CIS).
ISH has an inclusive admission policy; students with a diverse range of ability levels and educational experiences are accepted into the school.
Creativity, action and service (CAS) is an integral component and the life line of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.
CAS helps students to enhance their personal and interpersonal development through experiential learning. At the same time, it provides an important counterbalance to the academic pressures of the rest of the diploma programme. Each student has a different goal and need and CAS helps them to gain such experiences that are profound and life changing.
CAS has been integrated into the ISH middle and high school curriculum through after school activities.
