Childres Academy, Thakur Complex, is the last branch of the Childres Academy group of schools planned by founder V. V. Bhat. The school is affiliated with the Maharashtra State Board (MSBSHSE) and the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi. The school campus is spread across 2343.7 sq. mts, facilitating all the modern day amenities for its students.

In 2012, the school received an accolade that they had been ardently striving for over the past few years; it obtained affiliation from the prestigious ICSE council for fulfilling all the stringent parameters set by the ICSE Board.

Campus Details

Childres Academy, Thakur Complex campus spreads across 2343.7 sq mts, featuring 28 multi-media equipped classrooms, computer lab with 110 computers offering latest technology and equipments, a state-of-the-art library stocked with approximately 6818 books and journals in a wide range of disciplines and separate labs for Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The school provides sports facilities such as basketball court, football ground, and gymnasium. Two air-conditioned auditoriums have seating capacity of 500.

Won the 7th position at State level for U/16 State selection Sub-Junior held at Aurangabad
U/17 at the DSO got qualified in the competitions organized at Kandivali, Mulund and Dombivali. At the Taluka, District and Division level respectively.4. Payal Bohra won the following laurels

Was the semi finalist at the Girls u/14 Table Tennis competition organized at Dombivali Gymkhana
Had reached the quarter finals at the YMCA University Pavilion and at Khar gymkhana for u/14 girls Table Tenni

Won the runner up trophy at the MCF Sub-Junior Girls Table Tennis competitions
Won the runner up trophy at the Juhu Gymkhana

Teacher-student ratio of 1:18 is followed.
