Founded in 1998, BK Birla Centre for Education, Pune is a co-educational, English medium, residential school founded by eminent industrialist Basant Kumar Birla and inaugurated by Rahul Bajaj.

The school is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi and offers classes from grade IV to grade XII.
The campus hosts state-of-the-art infrastructure with modern facilities.

Campus Details

The school campus comprises a two storeyed academic block, hostel buildings, kitchen and dining hall, computer rooms, study area, playing fields and a library.

The classrooms are well-ventilated and equipped with latest teaching aids. The science and computer laboratories are equipped with the latest equipment.
Sports facilities include courts for basketball, badminton and tennis, and facilities for table tennis, swimming and indoor games.

Admission Details

The school admits students from class IV to class IX. Registration form for admission is issued in the month of January. The registration fee is non-refundable and it does not assure admission.

All applicants are required to write an assessment test which tests the candidates on English, Mathematics, Second Language and General Knowledge.
Selected candidates should submit their transfer certificate from the school last attended at the time of admission.

Academics Details

BK Birla Centre for Education is affiliated with CBSE, New Delhi and offers education from grade IV to grade XII.
The academic year includes two terms; the first term commences in April and ends in September while the second term commences in October and ends in March.

Extracurricular activities:
The school offers a wide range of extracurricular activities including play mathematics, crafts, performing arts, language club, easy writing, singing, painting, sketching, clay modeling, debates, photography, music and drama.
