St.Helena's School was founded by Miss Susie Sorabji with the hope that every brick would serve the Greater Glory of God, a tradition the school is proud to up hold and continue.The school, which began with a few students from several communities & nationalities,now boasts of a student body exceeding 3000. St.Helena's prepares its students for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Examiniations, with great success & is very proud of its cent percent results & it's merit-listers. The students are enrolled from Kindergarten upto Standard 10. St. Helena's boasts of achivements in many fields & is abuzz with several activities at any given time.
St. Helens School, Pune is an all girls Anglo-Indian Christian Minority School, affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi. It is a day cum residential boasting 89 teachers and 3000 students of varied cultures, religions, and social strata on its campus.

Sprawling over 2 acres in the heart of the city of Pune, also known as The Oxford of the Eas, St. Helens is sited on a street named after its founder Susie Sorabji and the school itself has been named after its donor Helen Gold.

Campus Details

The school campus sprawls over 2 acres with seven well maintained buildings hosting spacious and well maintained classrooms, a well stocked library with books on all disciplines academics, music, astrology, classical novels, fiction, poetry, arts, encyclopedias, periodicals, magazines, etc, separate state-of-the-art science laboratories and a computer centre equipped with sophisticated software.


The school canteen offers the children, parents and staff hygienic and wholesome meals and snacks.

Awards & Achievements

The school is known for its academic excellence and achieves a 100 percent pass results in the class X board exams every year. Last year 164 out of 205 students from St Helens School scored above 75 percent and three girls scored 96 percent and above in the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) results.
