Campus Details

SIS boasts a contemporary campus with spacious classrooms equipped with state-of-the-art furniture, a library stocked with the latest books, journals and reference books and well equipped computer and science laboratories.

The school encourages its students to have a healthy balance of work and play. The sports activities are coordinated and implemented by trained and competent instructors. It also organizes field trips and excursions, allowing teacher-student interaction and bonding beyond the classrooms.

Awards & Achievements

In 2002, the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India conferred the school adeemed universit status. Further in 2006, the University Grants Commission (UGC), Government of India, renamed the university as Symbiosis International Deemed University and it was accredited with Grade A by National Assessment Accreditation Council (NAAC)

Admission Details

At Symbiosis International School, the admissions are on first come first serve basis and open throughout the year depending on availability of seats. For fee structure parents can contact the school administration directly.

Entrance tests are administered for admissions into the primary, middle and secondary grades.
For the IB diploma programme, admissions are open from December for grade XI for the academic session starting in July, eligiblity criterion being completion of grade X from SSC/ CBSE / ICSE / or any equivalent boards around the world.

Academics Details

The school offers the curriculum of International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO), Geneva, for kindergarten, primary and senior secondary grades and the Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) curriculum for grades IX and X. The middle school (grades VI to VIII) follows the in-house curriculum -SIS Middle School Programme. The schoos academic management structure is designed to ensure maximum effectiveness in execution of the core curriculum and other aspects of academic programmes. The teacher-student ratio is maintained at 1:12.

Extracurricular:
The school offers various co-curricular and extracurricular activities such as elocution and speech, debates, abacus, western dance, Bharatnatyam, music (table, violin), handwriting workshops and visual and global arts. Sports such as football, basketball, table tennis, and skating are actively encouraged. The PE and sports programmes are designed, coordinated and implemented by qualified and competent instructors.
